The Strategic Group is a specialist business to business and FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) marketing and management consultancy. We work closely with senior management to increase revenues in a measurable and manageable fashion. Joel Serman – Marketing Director

Joel brings fifteen years of experience in both marketing and market research to Research Collective. His experience spans a vast corporate spectrum and includes some of South Africa’s most prominent and well-known brands.

Joel also lectures on both marketing strategy and market research, has twice been named as one of the top 5 marketing strategists in South Africa by the National Business Awards has been named a Shoprite Group supplier of the year.

Daniel Serman – Operations Director

Daniel is an operations specialist focusing on the day to day operations of the business. Having been involved in Operations and Logistics for 14 years he offers a wealth of knowledge, insight and understanding into moving business’ forward.

He ensures that from a consulting perspective we are actively moving our clients companies forward. He joined the Strategic Group in January 2016 having served as a director of an International brands company.

Kerri Brick – Research Director

Kerri Brick has a PhD in Economics and a background in conducting academic research, with a broad focus on behavioural economics and impact evaluation. Kerri’s skillset includes designing surveys, field experiments and Randomised Control Trials and analysing and reporting the research findings. Her interest is in applying these tools in a corporate context.

Our unique ability to quantify the impact of important business decisions such as the effect that a change in packaging, recipe, pricing or promotion will have on sales provides businesses with vital information to inform their decision making.

Strategic Sport, a member of the Strategic Group is a Sports Consultancy primarily focused on the Soccer Industry. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry we cater for all sporting needs and requirements specialising in event and tournament management, logistics, clothing and equipment solutions and project consultancy.
